What's New About the Artist Larry Snyder is a graduate of Hussian School of Art, Philadelphia Pennsylvania, where he majored in Illustration and Graphic Design. An illustrator by profession, his illustrations have been purchased by a wide variety of publishers, some of which include The Franklin Mint, The World Wildlife Fund First Day Cover Stamps, Jacques Cousteau Society Stamps of the Sea Animals of the World, Sports of all countries, Boy Scouts of America, Exploring Magazine, Philadelphia Academy of Natural Sciences, Flyers Hockey Organization, McGraw Hill Publications, Philadelphia Inquirer, Today Magazine, Bicycling Magazine, Rodale Press, Philadelphia Community College, Sperry Univac, Merck Sharp & Dohme. Mr. Snyder has won over 50 awards
for his work as an Illustrator and Etcher. As an Etcher, he is self-taught,
specializing mainly in Wildlife. His etchings are so detailed and life-like that
they capture the very essence of the wildlife he portrays. His technique is
remarkable, but he sees colors and textures that most of us never see or
overlook. Mr. Snyder's work is represented throughout the United States,
Australia and Canada as well as many private collections including Pete Rose of
the Phillies, Bill Bergey of the Eagles, Ed Snyder of the Flyers. Mr. Snyder is
an avid member of Artist of Ducks Unlimited, The Ward Foundation, National and
